Has anyone else tried the big-bosses in Hard Mode?

Here's what I've done.

Shiro: Did him first. He's lv. 33 (yikes). I was an SV, along with an SS in a PuG. He died in 1:30, hehe. From what I can tell, his attacks do a ton more damage (100+), and Impossible Odds clears all hexes.

Doppleganger: Pathetic. Truly Pathetic. Lv. 30...but her attributes are the same as Normal Mode (lv. 14ish), so the same rules and exploits apply. Although her weapons hit for 100+ and she now uses a spear...

Varesh: Ow. Her Scythe hits for 200+ normal. /resign

Haven't tried Abaddon, Glint, Lich Lord, Kunnavang, Zhu Hanuku (he counts as a boss!), or Shiro + Lich Lord (GAH!)

Has anyone else tried?

I think the spear thing happened before this update, since I remember the dopple using one when my warrior defeated it a week or so back...

Beat Shiro in 2:00...very easy.

The guy in NF who has blinding flash was pretty tough but we got him eventually

I beat Shiro in Hard Mode well under 2:00 with a totally random PUG that didn't prepare at all. Made up of 2 Warriors, 2 Dervs, 1 Monk, 1 Sin, 1 Rt/A and one Ele. No SS or SV in our party at all. I was expecting we'd get owned, but Shiro went down unbelievably easily. LOL

Just as a side curiousity: by beating Shiro in hard mode, do you get another amulet of the mists? (at work, just wondering).

Tried fighting Abaddon with 2 people + 6 heroes. It was just a quick trial to see how bad it was before my boyfriend went to sleep, but we didn't even get that far.

A tormet claw popped up and didn't get interrupted just as we got hit with "earth shattering blow". It was nearly a complete party wipe.

Glint is pretty much the same, didn't notice any skill changes although it has been a long time since I last fought her. Wild Blow + interrupts still > Glint

they shoulda made glint lvl 50 or so with fast cast and stuff =)

My Heroes+Henchies were getting wiped in Mirror Of Lyss because Ruby Djinns there have Searing Flames Elite and they are able to cast it atleast 3 times in a row.

So a boss that can use Searing Flames will be a real pain in the ass to defeat. I guess, interrupts are a must-must now.

On normal its difficult to get the edge...on hard they will fight you to an absolute standstill.
